Get your hands dirty and help plant some trees at Harrison Park with Edinburgh & Lothians Greenspace Trust and Friends of Harrison Park.
What is planned is some low, hedgerow-style planting on the bank between Harrison Road and East Harrison Park by the canal, providing a windbreak and giving some year-round interest on an otherwise scrubby bank. The plants are being provided by City of Edinburgh Council as part of their long-term development of the park.
We’ll be there from 11am to 1pm on Sunday 30th March (the morning the clocks go back) – gloves and spades provided.
Hopefully we’ll be able to relocate the daffodil bulbs!
